Fantom Dreams

For a very long time, I’ve done stories and othing writing things with great story lines and stuff like that, but I have never finished one. I always start it and say that I will finish it but than a day or two later I’ll throw it out.

Then I started thinking and the best way to relate the stories i started was if they were a game. An RPG. I’ve always been a fan of Final Fantasy. Thats what my stories would be about. So I started learning about the computer from my brother. I found a great game creator called RPG maker and I started making games. Up to this point, I did exactly what i did with stories but with games, I deleted them after a short time.

This game was diffrent. I could tell. It started as a direct rip from Final Fantasy 6. As i thought about it that became more and more unlikly. First that was illegal, second, i didn’t have the resouces (well i could if i spent hours and hours on end)

So about a month ago now, I started making Last Dream. It got its name from Final (last) fanstay (dream). I told you it was a direct rip. I started it on a Windows 98 laptop that i own. But the current version of RPG maker was way more advanced than my 2003 version. So i basicly duplicated the project over to the main computer (Xp and equiped with RPG maker VX) I stared over and redid several thing in The game. For one I made it alot more exiting than it was in the begining, and I made it look lots better.
So as I work on it I have great new ideas to implement into it.

I have slowed down on making it and I am now more focused on the plot and planning of the game. Once I get it to a point that would make a decent demo, Ill post it here for download.

11-10-08 If you’ve looked at this in the last month you may have noticed that the title has changed from last dream, to Fantom Dreams. that was just becuase It sounded a bit cheesey.

I have desided to move the game from RPG maker VX to Blender. Its a free 3-d program with a game engine so thats what i am now doing with the game.
